The authors analyze al-Shabaab's strategic communication tactics, including its use of the internet and control of local media, to disseminate its narrative. They identify the group's weaknesses across diplomatic, informational, military, and economic dimensions and suggest leveraging these vulnerabilities through non-kinetic means, focusing on diplomatic and informational strategies.
